“In the past 5 years I have been travelling all over Dublin, talking to a generation who were born, hard and “reared” in a Dublin that has all but disappeared. Born in the 1920’s, 1930’s, and the 1940’s these Dubliners are now bearing witness to massive change in their belov…ed Dublin. To say I am honoured and privileged to have spent time in their company is an understatement and I am glad to be able to call all of them friends of mine. I have enough interviews to do another 20 programs, and so I say to the people that are not here, maybe next time. Please sit back and enjoy.”
